The first Policy Development Workshop of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) took place in the Rectorate Senate Hall.

The workshop, chaired by ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Evren Karayel Gökkaya, assistant deans responsible for quality, assistant directors, department heads, student representatives from the University Quality Commission, chairs of the Policy Development Commissions, and the Quality Development and Institutional Monitoring Coordination.

In his opening speech, Rector Erenoğlu announced that the strategic plan for 2024-2028 had been published and that the university's policy documents were updated in line with this plan. He stated:

"With today's workshop, our aim is to present the policy documents prepared by the Policy Development Commissions in accordance with the Strategic Plan, to receive your feedback, and to finalize them. Your valuable opinions are important to us. We look forward to your insights."

Assistant Coordinator of the Quality Development and Institutional Monitoring Coordination, Lecturer Gökhan Çalışkan, gave a presentation on the policy development processes and the work carried out so far.

The workshop concluded with an exchange of ideas.
