Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu met with local government and NGO representatives in Ezine.

The "Ezine Workshop," aimed at developing collaborations between ÇOMÜ and Ezine Municipality and contributing to the development of the Ezine region, was held at the Ezine OPET Yanmazlar Social Facilities.

Participants of the workshop included Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Dinçay Köksal, Rector Advisor Lecturer Mustafa İlker Gülcemal, Director of Lapseki Vocational School Assoc. Prof. Dr. Engin Gür, Director of Ezine Vocational School Dr. Lecturer Mustafa Ekici, Ezine Mayor Güray Yüksel, Director of Ezine Food OIZ Alper Altınok, district protocol members, NGO representatives, and academics.

Highlighting the rapid development of Ezine, Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu stated, "I believe this workshop will be an important opportunity to enhance the collaborations between our university and Ezine and to contribute to the development of our region. We aim to develop our university's quality-focused activities within the scope of education, research, and community contribution in the context of university-city and university-industry collaborations. We want to further strengthen the collaborations between our university and the district and to implement the projects that will emerge."

The workshop concluded with the exchange of ideas on possible collaboration topics.
