Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Rector Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Lapseki District Governor Emre Öztürk, Lapseki Mayor Eyüp Yılmaz, and Lapseki Vocational School Director Engin Gür met with the district's village heads in Lapseki.

The meeting, attended by village heads and university academic staff, focused on project topics related to university-local government cooperation. Based on the requests of the Lapseki village heads regarding their local needs, topics such as women's employment, good agricultural practices, production of high value-added products, digital marketing, and tourism were discussed. The meeting also touched upon the preparation of EU projects, Erasmus+ projects, and the funds to be utilized within this scope.

As the first meeting marking the collaboration between Lapseki local government and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, it concluded with hopes and wishes for the cooperation to benefit the entire district and the university. At the end of the meeting, hosted by Lapseki Village Heads Association President Mehti Arıcı, Rector Erenoğlu was presented with a plaque for his participation.
