The Strategy Development Board Meeting was held in the Senate Hall of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ). The meeting was attended by ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Dinçay Köksal and Prof. Dr. Evren Karayel Gökkaya, Deputy Secretary General Sinan Karabulgu, and members of the Strategy Development Board.

In his speech, Rector Erenoğlu emphasized the importance of core values such as justice and merit, academic competence (academic excellence), institutional loyalty, sensitivity to society and nature, adherence to ethical values, respect for people and differences, entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity, transparency and accountability, a quality-focused institutional culture, loyalty to national and spiritual values, and an inclusive education approach. He stated:

“The mission of our university is to educate competent individuals with a contemporary, sustainable, and inclusive education approach while contributing to society with the scientific knowledge, technologies, and cultural, sports, and artistic activities it produces at national and international levels. To achieve this mission and vision, we must adopt and implement our core values.”
