Ten faculty members from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University have been included in the "World's Most Influential Scientists" list prepared by Stanford University in the United States.
The latest list, which ranks the world's most influential scientists, compiled annually by scientists from Stanford University, was recently published by Elsevier, a Netherlands-based publishing company specializing in scientific, technical, and medical content.
The ranking is categorized into two sections: "lifetime impact" and "annual impact." The ranking was based on international criteria such as the number of qualified publications by academics, the impact of the journals in which the publications appear, the number of patents, citations received, h-index, hm-index, number of articles, number of articles receiving citations, and the impact of the journal in which they are published.
According to detailed criteria, a total of 204,644 scientists were evaluated in the "annual impact" category. 1,202 scientists represented our country.
