The Quality Assurance and Improvement Visit and the Presentation of Academic Promotion Certificates held at the Faculty of Engineering of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) was attended by ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Evren Karayel Gökkaya, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Tolga Bekler, and other academicians.

Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu emphasized the recent positive developments in all areas, particularly in projects, publications, and citations, stating, "Since the beginning of this year, we have been making progress in these areas. According to the information we received from the agencies, there is a 250% increase in project applications. We have established our Research Dean's Office to create a sustainable research ecosystem. In this context, we have tasked our research deans with evaluating ecosystems and research groups where our relevant professors can participate in national and international funds and applying with project titles suitable for those funds. We especially expect our professors from the Faculty of Engineering and our young research students to be part of this environment. With our slogan 'Together We Move Forward,' we will take our university to better places. As a university, we ranked 9th in Turkey in TÜBİTAK 2209-A. Our goal for the new term is to reach the top 5."

Following the collection of opinions and wishes from the faculty members, certificates were presented by Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu to the faculty members who received academic performance awards and met the criteria for promotion and appointment.
