The Research Deanery has been established at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University to coordinate research activities in the academic units, promote interdisciplinary work, and provide suitable conditions for faculty and students to conduct their research.

The opening ceremony of the Research Deanery took place at the Science and Technology Application and Research Center (ÇOBİLTUM) with the participation of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, ÇOMÜ administrators, and academic and administrative staff.

The Dean of the Research Deanery, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sercan Karav, stated that the Research Deanery will play a crucial role in enhancing the university's research potential and coordinating projects.

Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu began his speech by saying, "Today, we witness an important milestone in the history of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University as we open the Research Deanery," and he continued:

"With the establishment of the Research Deanery, we will conduct our research and development activities in a planned and organized manner. In this context, we will create a sustainable research ecosystem with the participation of all our units. By ensuring collaboration and coordination among different faculties and departments, we will strengthen our research infrastructure. Additionally, by developing collaborations with domestic and international research institutions and organizations, we aim to become influential on an international level."

After Rector Erenoğlu's speech, the opening of the Deanery was officially conducted.
