The Quality Assurance and Improvement Visit and Academic Promotion Document Presentation Ceremony were held at the Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ). The ceremony was attended by ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Dinçay Köksal, FAD Dean Prof. Dr. Tülay Cengiz Taşlı, Quality Development and Institutional Monitoring Coordinator Dr. Erdem Kan, and other academicians.

ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Cüneyt Erenoğlu discussed the innovations in the university's institutional management system and evaluated the quality processes of the Faculty of Architecture and Design.

Quality Development and Institutional Monitoring Coordinator Dr. Erdem Kan, in his assessment presentation based on the outcomes of the quality process, evaluated the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of FAD. Additionally, the presentation provided information on improvement efforts.

During the visit, questions from FAD academicians were answered by Rector Prof. Dr. Erenoğlu and the accompanying delegation. The academicians raised their questions and suggestions on quality processes, improvement activities, social transcripts, and the reflection of academic works.

Awards Presented to the “Bests” of FAD

Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design and Lecturer of the Department of Landscape Architecture Prof. Dr. Tülay Cengiz Taşlı received the "Effective Researcher Award"; Lecturer of the Department of Landscape Architecture Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alper Sağlık received the "Registration Award" and "Education-Teaching Quality Award." Dr. Lecturer Aylin Çelik Turan from the Department of Landscape Architecture and Dr. Lecturer Ayşe Nur Albayrak from the Department of City and Regional Planning received the "Education-Teaching Quality Award."

Prof. Dr. Okan Yılmaz from the Department of Landscape Architecture received the "Education-Teaching Quality Award," and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Sağlık from the same department received the "Academic Promotion Award."

The event concluded with a group photo session.
